    - we could ask faculty to break into small groups, give an academic concept and ask groups to write out possible differentiation approaches within a 15 minute time limit and see who has most varied number!
    - we could introduce the wiki and discuss how we want it to be used (see below)
    - share what we expect from faculty
    - share subject level pages (what do we want teachers to do here)

    B) We could start a webspace on Teaching and Learning and this differentiation wiki would be a part of it
    - we could invite others to blog about their differentiation practices, questions

    A) ON Feb 25, we could do a mini-presentation to all-faculty about differentiation and use differentiated strategies to get the point across!
    - we could introduce the approaches to differentiation
    - we could demonstrate how an academic concept can be differentiated according to content, product, process or profile of student, interests or readiness
    - we could ask faculty to break into small groups, give an academic concept and ask groups to write out possible differentiation approaches within a 15 minute time limit and see who has most varied number!
    - we could introduce the wiki and discuss how we want it to be used (see below)
    B) We could start a webspace on Teaching and Learning and this differentiation wiki would be a part of it
    - we could invite others to blog about their differentiation practices, questions
    C) We could use a protocol to engage each divisional faculty in thinking about a much broader view of differentiation:
    1. What does differentiation mean to you?
    2. Use the continuum to see where you are in your differentiation practice.
    3. Discuss plans for PD and support next year

Slice of Life - an activity that works well for thematic research projects. Visit Education World to learn how this strategy could be used to help students with time management. Technique can also be used as a "hook" for group assignments. Teacher puts an aspect of a given lesson on the back of each piece of a large cardboard pizza pie. Students or groups research their "piece of the pizza pie" and report back to the class. (Example: Social Studies-Culture..each piece might include topics like economy, clothing, foods, etc.)
